Abstract:
A desk-based assessment revealed that the site had been occupied since at least the 17th century. Widespread clearance of the area occurred prior to 1937, and again following extensive bombing in 1942. Non-intrusive methods of investigation were deemed unsuitable for the site. [Au(adp)]
