Abstract: |
An archaeological assessment was carried out and identified evidence for prehistoric activity on the site. There was a Bronze Age findspot some way to the west and Neolithic features have been recorded further south. There was no evidence of local Roman activity. The buildings from the vicinity of the site were probably the residue of the historic core of Newby. [Au(adp)] |
