Abstract: |
The assessment revealed the site contained a number of features of historic and archaeological importance. Perhaps the most significant was the line of the tram road which ran through the area and was considered an important industrial monument. Two linear features of post-medieval date were indicative of a canal or water garden; were shown on the 1757 map by Taylor, were also considered of archaeological importance.[Au(abr)] |
