Abstract: |
Archaeological monitoring was conducted on pipelaying to service a new housing development. The pipeline ran near to a previously excavated site which had revealed two oven structures and along the edge of Church Common which had potential for evidence of medieval activity. The trenching and soil stripping revealed only one feature which comprised an extractive pit backfilled with rubbish. [AIP] |
