Abstract:		 <summary>A survey of the Neolithic/Bronze Age Ballowall cairn was undertaken alongside a critical reappraisal of the records of previous archaeological investigations carried out at the monument - most especially those of the antiquarian W C Borlase in 1878 - so that a reassessment of the monument could be made and a plan for its management and presentation devised. Three possible sequences for the development of the complex site that exists today were drawn up and a set of management recommendations put forward. {italon}AIP{italoff}
