Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken at Pembridge Castle near Welsh Newton on the site of a single wooden pylon during the establishment of replacement and additional stay wires on Midlands Electricity overhead equipment. Much of Pembridge Castle is a Scheduled Ancient Monument. This site is an unscheduled window within the scheduled area, known to have been substantially disturbed in 1912.[AIP] |
