Abstract: |
Test pits were dug and foundation trenches were inspected during the evaluation. The test pits revealed no archaeological features, although finds recovered included Mesolithic to Bronze Age flint work, briquetage, Iron Age/Romano-British Vectis ware and post-medieval artefacts. The foundation trenches revealed one feature, a shallow pit, which contained flintwork, briquetage, unfired clay and Iron Age pottery. [Au(abr)] |
