Abstract: |
The trenches had been dug to a shallower depth than originally proposed and this reduced the likelihood of exposing a significant archaeological deposits. The mortar rubble exposed in Trench One post-dated the construction of the brick built church. A dark soil in trench 2 predates the construction of the vestry and was therefore likely to have represented 19th century and earlier deposits associated with the graveyard. [Au(adp)] |
