Abstract: |
<summary>An archaeological presence was maintained at Halligye fogou whilst a trench was excavated to facilitate the shoring and blocking of the entrance at the northern end of the northern creep where backfill from 1980-81 excavations had subsided and intruded into the passage. Excavation of the backfill from the trench revealed three courses of drystone walling, including a massive lintel, 1.3 metres in length and 0.49 metres in depth, over the entrance.
