Abstract: |
Desk based assessment identifed a Romano-British occupation site immediately east of the development site and a second a little to the northeast. Numerous medieval and later sites were identified surrounding the development site and the site was shown to be part of fields in this period. Medieval finds to the east of the developemnt site were noted and visual inspection of the site located a quantity of fragmentary pottery in the northeast corner of the development site. [AIP] |
