Abstract: |
An evaluation in advance of creation of drainage ponds through gravel extraction revealed evidence of clearance of land for agriculture, Iron Age activity and Bronze Age settlement. There was good potential organic preservation also, with positive results from analysis of alluvial deposits from a relict stream channel. [AIP] |
