Abstract: |
An evaluation of Marston Hall revealed a brick-built cellar and the floor surfaces of extensions to the rear of the Hall, which had survived the demolition of the house in 1980. It was established that the archaeological soil profile survived beneath the noise bund, but there was no evidence of medieval occupation of the site prior to the building of the Hall. [Au] |
