Abstract: |
The 32-trench evaluation in advance of a housing development with associated infrastructure revealed evidence for the nursery's greenhouse structures, as well as modern ditches and hedgerow divisions. A number of natural features were also noted. The only evidence for occupation dating to periods earlier than the 19th century was a single flint end-scraper of probable Neolithic or Bronze Age date.
