Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was carried out on the site of proposed housing development, by excavation of four trenches of which three exposed features of archeological significance, tentatively dated as being medieval. Previous excavations (during the early 1960s) on the site had revealed associated material and these suggested the presence of a potters workshop (although no such confirmatory evidence was revealed through this investigation).
