Abstract: |
Buried remains of part of the former Great Nancekuke settlement and at the former Manor Farm were possible. Wartime features also had considerable interest which, subject to a wider survey, may have been of regional importance: these included the assemblage of former administrative buildings and the nearby air-raid shelters and fire-fighting water tanks, the runway system and coastal defence and weapons training facilities.
