Abstract: |
The church was rebuilt in the 15th century and was situated within close proximity to the earthwork remains of a 12th century Benedictine abbey. The remains of a Saxon cross were incorporated into the design of the church. Little of archaeological significance was found during the watching brief. [Au(adp)] |
