Abstract:		 A programme of archaeological work was undertaken as part of the contract for Archaeological Services in Relation to the Protection of Wrecks Act (1973). It constituted an assessment of Rill Cove; a designated wreck site. The position of the site was not fixed and the existing site plans were difficult to interpret. The position of the two archaeological features that were previously reported to have been exposed were not located. Although no archaeological material was located during fieldwork, the site (including the anchor) did appear to lie within the designated area. [Au(adp)]
