Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at a proposed development site, which had been identified by a desk-top study as lying within an area of high archaeological potential. A Romano-British settlement site lay in the immediate vicinity. During the evaluation, recent gardening features and modern artefacts were observed, but no finds or features of archaeological interest were revealed. It was concluded that no further archaeological work would be necessary in connection with the proposed development. [AIP] |
