The archaeological desk based assessment concentrated on an area of ancient landscape containing elements that may have dated from the medieval period. No standing buildings or the sites of buildings were identified within the study area, although the presence of Morley's Hall, a Listed Building and Scheduled Ancient Monument on the south-western boundary of the proposed development area, warranted mitigation measures in that part of the study area.
