Abstract: |
Excavations of an area at Halloon Farm, St Columb, in the northern sector of the route of the A30 Indian Queens - Fraddon bypass, revealed a number of undated linear ditches. A sketch survey revealed that in places at Halloon, remnant traces of a medieval field system could be identified but that this was on a different alignment to the ditch system excavated, confirming at least a pre-medieval date for the excavated features.
