Abstract: |
Observation and recording was undertaken as enhancement work was being carried out. Fourteen pits were dug by hand to accomodate large fence posts within the carpark. There were no finds from the bases and sides of any of the pits but finds were retrieved from the spoil of all but one pit. The finds consisted mainly of local Verwood type post-medieval pottery although two sherds of medieval cooking pot were also revealed. [AIP] |
