Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was conducted in advance of proposed residential development of the site. Three trenches were excavated, revealing a number of features associated with the post-medieval pottery production industry in the area. The features were confined to the southern and south-western parts of the site, and dated to the 17th-18th/19th century. A trench within the footprint of the proposed building revealed no archaeological features. [Au(abr)] |
