Abstract: |
The desk-based assessment of the proposed residential development showed that the area was situated within the medieval village of Earl Shilton. A Neolithic macehead had been found nearby. Roman activity was also known in the vicinity of Earl Shilton. The proposed development area therefore had some potential for containing archaeological remains. [Au(abr)] |
