Abstract:		 A programme of archaeological work was undertaken as part of the contract for Archaeological Services in Relation to the Protection of Wrecks Act (1973). It constituted an assessment of the Schiedam: a designated wreck site located off Halzephron headland in south western Cornwall. The exact location of the site was not found due to high sand levels along this stretch of the coast. Further circular searches were conducted within the surrounding seabed, but no archaeological features were visible. Future recommended work would be to locate the site, with priority to the exposed features being relocated and recorded. [Au(adp)]
