Abstract: |
The earliest archaeological evidence encountered during the evaluation consisted of pits, stone and linear features containing sherds of abraded Roman pottery that were located to the rear of the Cornucopia. Medieval pit features were recorded in the trenches to the east of the Conucopia. These features were sealed by subsoil and truncated by 19th century features. [Au(abr)] |
