An archaeological watching brief was undertaken on the excavation of foundation holes for new play apparatus in the north-west corner of Toot Hill Close. This part of the playing fields lay within the bailey of Sapcote Castle, a SAM. No archaeological deposits or finds were observed. [Au(abr)] |
