Abstract: |
The pipeline replacement involved the excavation of seven small pits in the road alongside All Saints Church to locate the gas main and a trench in Pound Lane for a replacement connection. A disused road drain containing 19th century potsherds and clay pipe fragments and a 19th-20th century well were recorded. [AIP] |
