An archaeological watching-brief maintained during the excavation of foundation trenches alongside the west and east walls of the south porch of St Michael and All Anglels Church revealed no signifcant archaeological deposits. After removal of the reed and plaster ceiling, the roof timbers were recorded prior to removal and replacement. [Au] |
