Two 1m x 2m test pits were excavated, in advance of the construction of a swimming pool. No significant archaeological deposits or artefacts were observed in test pit two, in test pit one the natural subsoil was not reached and the lower deposits may have been of medieval or Roman date though no dating evidence was recovered.
