Abstract:
An archaeological desk based assessment was undertaken as a Stage 2 Archaeological Assessment in accordance with the Highway Agency's Design Manual for Roads and Bridges. It was concluded that the road widening scheme would have had a limited impact and that no known archaeological remains were present, however, the possibility of unknown archaeological deposits being damaged was noted.
