Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during the excavation of six engineering pits. Two post-medieval pits and a well or soakaway were recorded. The site was unlikely to contain a large quantity of archaeological features as the area had been extensively truncated by modern cellars. A small assemblage of post-medieval pottery and two leather shoes were collected during the works. [Au(abr)] |
