Abstract: |
Although the site was within an area of anciently enclosed land bordering former ornamental parkland belonging to Bake Manor, the turbine locations were situated within an area thought to have been downland or rough grazing. Possible sites of Bronze Age barrows on higher slopes, elevated ridges and an enclosure lay close to the study area. No archaeological sites or surface archaeological remains were visible on the site. [Au(abr)] |
