Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	The watching brief was undertaken during the desilting of part of the moat at Scotney Castle. No archaeological artefacts were observed and there was no obvious change in colour of the silt. The report concluded that there was a minimal impact to archaeological remains. [Au(adp)]
