Abstract: |
The test pit programme, along with the limited desktop survey, revealed a series of features and structures that, although located on top of the Roman horizon nevertheless indicated the sensistivity of the site. The large quantities of residual Roman pottery and a single coin further emphisized the importance of the site. According to previous archaeological investigations of the site, the Roman stratigraphy in form of significant features lay between 0.50m and 0.80m below the exsiting ground level.[Au(abr)] |
