Abstract: |
The investigation followed the appearance of a void just outside the shell keep of the Norman motte. A 19th of 20th century stone-built water tank was revealed, as well as the remains of two earlier walls that were associated with a structure built against the keep wall. Documentary evidence had suggested that a house had been located here. [Au(abr)] |
