Abstract: |
The watching brief established that no archaeological features or structures were disturbed by the excavations but did indicate a significant Romano-British presence demonstrated by the recovery of frequent pottery sherds in a narrow horizon beneath the topsoil. The evidence would suggested that an occupation site of this period probably lay in close proximity. [Au(abr)] |
