Abstract: |
A watching brief on geotechnical investigations did not encounter any significant archaeological deposits. The investigations did however demonstrate the depth below ground of the natural subsoil as well as confirming that the Old Dover Road had been constructed on a terrace or cutting and the modern ground level within the cricket ground had not been significantly landscaped.
