Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was carried out on the site. Material was recovered relating to the use by USAAF during the Second World War. A 19th century rubbish dump was identified as was a concave water feature. Part of a 17th century structure was also identified. Residual medieval pottery was also recovered. [Au(abr)] |
