Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken in advance of extension development. The study area lay within an area of archaeological interest, being in close proximity to an early Romano-British occupation site, a spot find area of Neolithic stone axes, and a medieval settlement complex. The evaluation confirmed the survival of Romano-British deposits, and the artefactual evidence confirmed medieval activity in the area. [Au(adp)] |
