Abstract: |
An archaeological field survey was undertaken in the grounds of Ford Abbey Farm. The survey comprised of earthwork mapping and geophysical investigations (resistivity, magnetometry, electro-magnetic and ground penetrating radar investigations). Results have been interpreted as coinciding with an original moat which ran around the farm and a pond. Five possible structures have also been discovered which may have been associated with water management. [AIP] |
