Abstract: |
The desk-top assessment identified 30 sites of archaeological interest within the study area. A number of these sites are directly within the corridor of the pipeline. As a result of the assessment it was recommended that a permanent presence watching brief be maintained during the disturbance of al non-naturally derived soil horizons, or that targeted evaluations be carried out at those points where recognised archaeological features would be disturbed.
