Abstract: |
<summary>Excavations for the foundations of a new extension at the rear of the bungalow uncovered further stratified deposits containing significant quantities of Middle to Late Iron Age pottery. Further trenching in the old orchard revealed a series of Middle Iron Age features and an early Roman flint-lined well. The site lies close to a Scheduled Romano-Celtic temple site. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
