Abstract: |
A survey comprising photography, a measured frame survey and a site plan was made of the Grade II Listed single aisled barn at Greenleaves, Nazing. The building was timber-framed, mainly of oak but derelict following a fire in the 1980s. The majority of the timbers were original. The barn was of three bays, with at least the northern bay divided off. The aisle may have been only down the two northern bays. None of the roof survived, but it was hipped at the north end.
