Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken during conversion works on the site. The site lay within the north-western sector of Roman Corinium, approximately 500 metres from the central forum. The site also lay in close proximity to the primary core of Anglo-Saxon and medieval Cirencester. However, due to the shallow depth of the excavations, no archaeological deposits were encountered.
