Abstract: |
An evaluation in advance of the construction of a new doctor's surgery was carried out. The remnant of a single possible medieval pit was recorded towards the Saffron Road frontage, containing four sherds of 12th century pottery. No evidence was found of buildings recorded on a map of 1591, however the site had been extensively truncated by a 19th century coal yard. [Au(adp)] |
