Abstract: |
Desk-top and rapid identification surveys revealed many sites of interest, most being avoidable by some relocation of the proposed turbines. The most significant monuments identified were two potential Bronze Age round cairns and extensive areas of opencast working. Watching briefs were considered necessary during construction of the turbines to identify any buried features or archaeological stratigraphy. [AIP] |
