Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief during ground reduction for two new dwellings revealed the remains of two cottages, one dated to the 13th century continuing in use to the 16th century. The other cottage was probably part of a building shown on a map of 1766. In inpressive length of the drive to Bramshill Manor was exposed. A sherd of Roman pottery indicated activity in the area for this period. [Au(abr)] |
