Abstract: |
Three trial trenches were excavated on a proposed development site. A watching brief in 1992 had located a large pit or ditch containing organic silts, but of unknown date. The 1993 excavation concluded that 19th and 20th century activity had caused severe truncation of the original ground levels.[Au(abr)] |
