Abstract: |
The first 12 metres of trench had been excavated in error prior to any archaeological monitoring. Two possible medieval footings were recorded, and a probable level floor layer was noted between these wall footings. To the east side of the gable wall of the nearby medieval St. John's Hospital, the remainder of the trench was excavated under archaeological supervision. However, this part of the trench contained no further archaeological deposits or remains. [Au(abr)] |
