Abstract: |
<summary2>A watching brief was undertaken on the excavation of engineering trial-pits. Building platforms, presumably of medieval or later date, lie approximately 250m to the south-west of the site. There is also a background of prehistoric activity in the area. The excavations revealed no archaeological features; however, the test-holes covered only a relatively small proportion of the field. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
